Bracelet Sizing
Bracelet sizing can be done in several ways, using various bracelet sizing tools.
If you're getting a bracelet for yourself, you can simply use measuring tape to determine the size of your wrist. Wrap the tape around the spot where you would like to wear your bracelet, and jot down the number of inches it measures. Add ¼ of an inch to a full inch to that number for a looser, more comfortable fit.
If you don't have a measuring tape handy, look for a printable tape measure online. You can also wrap a ribbon around your wrist, mark the point where its tip meets its body, and measure the length with a ruler.
You can use these methods to effectively size a watch bracelet or even to determine your bangle bracelet size (just double the size of your wrist). These techniques should make sizing bracelets easy, regardless of their type.
In case you don't have measuring tapes, printers, rulers, or any other tools that will help you measure your wrist, just keep the standard bracelet sizes in mind. Chances are, these sizes will be a good fit for you.
The standard bracelet size for ladies' bracelets is 7 inches, while the norm for men's bracelets is 8 inches. Women with larger than average wrists should get 8-inch bracelets, and men with larger wrists should get 9-inch bracelets. Children's standard sizes for bracelets fall somewhere between 5 to 6 inches. Check out bracelet size guides or bracelet size charts online if you feel that you have special requirements.
